I heard Tim Ferris today say, and I’m paraphrasing, “often times, fear is an indicator of what you SHOULD do rather than what you should not do”. I ask myself questions all the time and what it exposes is roadblocks to helping people.
You are just you and I love you. I love the mom who feels stuck. I love the athlete that trains. I love the entrepreneur who jumps in the deep end with no guarantee of success. I love the arrogant dad pouring all he has into his child in hopes that it will not all slip away and he can be the wind beneath the wings. I love the hidden talents of tweens and teens that are discovered via YouTube. I especially love the public school teachers that have the drive of the Russian Olympic Gymnastic coaches that are loved because their standard of excellence is at the level of no mercy but brings unbelievable skill to the top like the richest cream in my cuban coffee.
Think of what you want and go for it! Ask yourself, “What’s the worst that could happen?” and do it anyway. Don’t you love a good story? I do. Send them to me at lea@clearcutdirection.com
