If Any of You Lack….Just Ask!

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God,
who gives generously to all without finding fault,
and it will be given to you.
James 1:5
If you are into self-examination with your character, you are aware of the areas in which you fall short.  The problem with being introspective and truly knowing yourself, your weaknesses, your strengths, is if you choose to simply “know” yourself and not “grow” yourself, you are like an artificial plant in the corner of an office lobby.  You look good.  You add to the vibe of the place but nobody looks at you for more than a moment and says, “Wow, that plant really makes this lobby!”  It is clear you’ve been manufactured and will never go beyond the purpose of aesthetics. Aesthetics has its place, but is it enough to fill your need to have a purpose in this life?
I’ve been studying the laws of vibration.  I study a lot of things.  I study the Bible which some people deny as having any merit at all.  I study the law of attraction which people who are pragmatic, think is a bunch of hooey.  I study different forms of meditation which surprisingly many people believe that meditation is useful but few take the time to calm themselves long enough to reap the benefits.
Vibration: a characteristic emanation, aura, or spirit that infuses or vitalizes someone or something and that can be instinctively sensed or experienced —often used in plural
I used to say, “I am not a multitasker.” but this is not true.  I used to say that I’m a little A.D.D. which through my study, I choose to change that into “I have lacked discipline most of my life.”  This is the truth.  Through fear of failure or exposure, I’ve started many things that I have not completed.  Lucky for me though I kept good notes.  I’ve extended myself a new sense of grace on these projects and have filed them in my “to do” file.  I didn’t quit.  I just haven’t finished them yet.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
How many of us have known that we lacked wisdom?  How many of us ask God for it?
Heck, if you are not a believer in the bible or God, How many have googled, “How to get wisdom?”  I have.  You see, even though I believe in God, and His word, I know there are others who do not.  I want to plant the seed of love in them as well.  I believe that God is everywhere and I believe he will use anything to help you find the love you are looking for.  For you see, God is love.  Love is what people are looking for.
Matthew 7:7 “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you. “
Getting back to the whole lesson of the laws of vibration, it is so easy to be pulled into the direction of negative vibration.  If you go onto youtube and search Abraham Hicks, you will discover a series of recordings that explains things a little more clearly.  I am not a blind follower.  I am a student.  I will google the word scam after anything I study as a way to learn the other side of whatever I happen to be studying.
What makes me different though and this is just a recent change, is that I’ve taken control of my choices.  I am now choosing the direction I want to go or should I say want to grow.  I know for a fact I lack wisdom but I’m excited that God does not judge me or find fault in my scattered thoughts.  I’m excited about my future.  I am learning.  I am growing and God is clearing my path faster than He ever has, I believe because I am no longer getting in his way with my duplicitous thinking.  I’ve stopped lying to myself.
I beg for wisdom.  I take captive my thoughts.  I ask for what I want and my life is changing completely.  My family is supportive even if they are not on the same path because they see me changing.  I’m no longer an artificial plant.  The six stages of the plant life cycle include germination, seedling stage, vegetative growth, pre-flowering stage, flowering and seed stage. The six stages are the procedures through which a plant develop, mature, reproduce and then die.
A seed has been planted in me. I am growing.  I am believe I am in the pre-flowering stage.  I will blossom and produce more seeds and help others to grow.  It is an amazing process.
